Member-only story
I want to restrict my screen time, so I write in a notebook first and then transcribe my notes to the computer from time to time. ChatGPT4 was good at this months ago but became less accurate in the past few months. As Claude 3 entered the competition, I tried it last week; it performed well, so I shifted to Claude 3. However, today, as I wanted to write a post about Claude’s better performance compared to ChatGPT, boom! ChatGPT is back! It recognized all my terrible handwriting, while Claude made several mistakes!
However, I think Claude is still better at another task for non-native English speakers like me: the grammar check task. ChatGPT tends to change the text to another style using words beyond my writing skills. On the other hand, Claude preserves my texts and only focuses on checking the grammar. Well, you can adjust your command and ask ChatGPT to act like Claude, I guess, but I am happy with Claude on this task and don’t want to spend time coaching ChatGPT.
