I was extremely busy in the past two months, studying, doing part-time work and internships while looking for jobs. I was also searching for a new apartment and cutting off a toxic relationship. So in the last three weeks, I had to catch up on work during my spare time (evenings and weekends), and I couldn’t report the progress on time during regular working hours. However, I didn’t want to give up at this critical point when it was almost done.

Today, the eight-week internship at Vively ended(related post: My Internship Experience at Vively, a MedTech Startup). Thankfully, I’m pleased with the analysis outcome. I experienced the power of insight discovered through data analysis. Some insights remain unknown until someone looks into the dataset. One major limitation is that we have almost the same number of users with worse glucose levels after using CGM. Additionally, we don’t see obvious improvements in the normal healthy group (diabetes and prediabetes groups see more improvement). However, all users experienced a decrease in spike counts. That makes sense, as other measures like Time In Range (TIR) and HbA1C are influenced by many factors that are more challenging to control and improve. Spikes are easier to spot with the help of CGM.
