I’d like to show you how I use ChatGPT to speed up my literature review process. The topic I am exploring is heterogeneity(diversity) learning. I started with the keyword “Info-GAIL” as I read about it when using GAIL in the past.

In fact, I used a similar strategy to conduct the literature review process. Most of the searches happened in Google in the past, but now it is replaced by ChatGPT. I found out the resources ChatGPT listed are reliable as I just searched for the general direction of that field instead of something really specific and abstract. My productivity is improved as I don’t need to read several Google search results initially. ChatGPT provides a reasonable initial point. And from there, you will get many inspirations.

  1. Finding related papers
  2. Increasing reading speed
  3. Learning histories and foundations of the methods/topics

1. Finding related papers

(1) Keywords to papers

I started with my first keyword “Info-GAIL” as I wanted to generate different behaviours or patterns from a dataset. By asking ChatGPT, I looked up these five papers on Google Scholar.
