I Passed the DP-100 Without Preparation (Microsoft Azure Data Scientist Associate DP-100): A Lesson on the True Value of Learning Over Certificates
I didn’t prepare for this exam because I was busy studying for university (you can check my almost dropout dairy here), but I still passed last Sunday. This demonstrates that certificates are not everything; what truly matters is what you learn while preparing for the exam. Although I passed, if you ask me most of the questions in an interview, I wouldn’t know the answers. I have never used all those Azure services mentioned in the exam.
I obtained a credit to take the exam by participating in the Microsoft Learn AI Skills Challenge, though the content wasn’t related to this exam. Since it was set to expire on June 24th, I scheduled the exam for June 23rd, a Sunday, at 10:30 AM.
There were four exams to choose from. Aspiring to be a data scientist, I chose DP-100.
