I first read the popular book Ikigai in 2023, focusing primarily on its framework for finding meaningful work — something that aligns with what you love, what you are good at, what society needs, and what can sustain you financially. Back then, this idea resonated with me deeply, as I was searching for a sense of direction in my professional life.

Recently, while cleaning my apartment, I picked up the book again, this time without any particular intention. As I turned the pages, I found myself drawn to something I had previously overlooked — the concept of Flow and how purpose leads naturally into this immersive state. I also noticed the sections on Wabi-Sabi and Ichigo Ichie, which had barely registered in my first reading. It’s true what people say: every rereading brings new insights.
