I want to print this character, so I researched it this morning. Here is the plan. I need to extract, edit, print and colour it. I think it will take 3–6 months(learn to use Blender and 3D printer), depending on my spare time.

1. Extract the model

It’s a popular multi-player role-playing game called Final Fantasy 14; the community has already developed a bunch of tools for the game. The TexTools can be used to extract the model. I will start using it today and extract many characters this month. This part is easy.

2. Edit the model

This might takes much more time since the model will be loaded in Blender, and fine adjustments are needed. I have never used 3d software before, and I have only a little experience using photoshop(Just simple stuff like removing the background). I plan to learn how to use it next month, May 2022.

3. Print the model
